As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The editors of Asian Social Science and Humanities Research Journal (ASHREJ) welcome article submissions in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. Articles are written in English using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition. They are typed 1.0 spaced in a quarto paper size (A4) and in Times New Roman font 11pt, between 8-20 pages in length including abstract, references, pictures, and tables. The page margins are 2.5 cm (top), 3 cm (left), 2.5 cm (right), and 2.5 cm (bottom).
  2. Articles have not been published or accepted for any publication, or are not being considered for publication elsewhere. In addition to the manuscript, a written statement should be attached in Supplementary FIle (Step 4 in online submission) which clarifies that the article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism. The editor will still do plagiarism screening with Turnitin and be in charge of accepting or declining regarding its result.
  3. Types of articles suitable for publication include the following; research reports (laboratory, field, achieves), conceptual ideas, studies, theory applications.
  4. The reference management format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style and Mendeley
  5. There should be at least 10 references appear at the end of the article and includes only literature actually cited in the manuscripts. About 70% of the references are supposed to be primary resources. References are ordered alphabetically and chronologically.
