Abstract

Today's business and jobs are very challenging where the competencies of employees are highly emphasized to ensure that employee performance is at the maximum and consistent level to enable the company to always remain competitive in the market. In organization, employees are an important asset where non-monetary rewards offered can be a factor to increase employee motivation. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the variables of non -financial reward offers namely recognition, training and good work environment on the performance of employees in Syarikat YP Plantation Sdn Bhd (YPPH). A total of 164 data represents the usable 58% of the 280 questionnaires that were distributed to all employees. The results of the study and statistical data analysis showed that non -monetary rewards for recognition factors, training and good work environment were significantly related and had a significant influence on employee performance. However, the study conducted also has constraints and limitations as well as recommendations for future research.
